Robert James Fierro also know as RJ or Turbo, age 26, passed away on Friday October 6, 2017 at Mountain View Hospital in Las Cruces New Mexico. He was born November 3, 1990 in Las Cruces, to Edward “Eddie” and Christina Fierro. He was a 2009 graduate of Gadsden High School. He married Ana Medina on March 18, 2014 in Las Cruces. He worked as a Correctional Officer for the State Prison of New Mexico, displaying good ethics and hard work. Robert truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with friends and family, eating, and spending time on his bike. Robert always brought a smile to everyone’s face with his own infectious smile brightening up the room. He is survived by his wife, Ana; stepchildren Ayrton and Anthony, a brother, Edward “Eddito” Michael Fierro, sister-in-law Alejandra; one nephew Eric Matthew “Matt” Fierro, niece Michelle S. Fierro and many cousins. Family, friends and others whose lives Robert touched are invited to celebrate his life on Saturday, October 14, 2017 with a memorial service beginning at 10 am at Getz Funeral Home, 1410 E. Bowman Ave, all are invited to commence with one last ride on Highway 28, following the celebration of his life; to reminisce, grieve, support each other and of course, just chat.
