The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of John Benton can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: Brenda N.
Condolence: I am so sorry for your loss. I too have recently lost a dear loved one to cancer. This loss can seem so overwelming. Fortunately, I found comfort in God's promise that one day I would see my dear loved one again.(John 5:28,29)By petitioning our heavenly Father in prayer, he will give you the peace and comfort you need to get through your trials. (Philippians 4:6,7) May you and your family find comfort at this difficult time.

Condolence: My Dear Marge and Brenda,
So so sorry for your loss, Bud was an awesome person and yes, he was a great leader. When I first met Bud was when i rented the little house. I fell in love with both Bud and Marge. He was like my Daddy - he was so smart and full of knowledge and great wisdom.

I was blessed to talk to Bud on the phone in early February, I had called for Marge, but she was shopping. We visited a bit, told him about my car getting stolen and he chuckled about that. I told him I would be coming into town to visit, me and Darla. I told him how much Darla missed him. He just laughed. It was a great talk, I told him I prayed for him everyday and I did. I prayed to bring him peace and to give Marge peace and understanding. I am glad I had that talk with him, I will miss and do miss him very much.

Thank you for being my friend Bud, until we meet again.

Lots of love to you Brenda and your Momma.
From the deepest part of my heart -
Kathy Provencio
